We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented, hardworking, and extremely well-organized photographer/editor to join the Scrambled creative team. As a part of our creative team our photographers/editors are primarily responsible for shooting product, lifestyle and food focused photography. Your secondary responsibility lies in photo editing and assisting with other creative team projects as needed.  You should have a strong desire to constantly refine and improve creative output while producing high-end photography. The ideal candidate must have a good eye for image quality, composition, and color accuracy and flourish in an environment with tight deadlines. The candidate should demonstrate good decision-making ability and be able to handle multiple tasks with little direction while prioritizing and managing their time efficiently. This role requires an individual who is highly organized and has a strong attention to detail; however, the most important attribute of the ideal candidate is that they have a keen eye for beautiful food images. 


  • Produce compelling food, product & setting photography that is on-brief and according to creative concept. The photography should be well-lit, well-composed, using elements such as but not limited to proper exposure, focus, composition, colors, and angle. 
  • Process, name (metadata) and prepare images for edit.
  • Edit food, product and setting photos under the general direction of the Creative Director & Head of Photography.
  • Crop, colour-correct, manipulate and adjust images as necessary to achieve company standards.
  • Work collaboratively with clients during shoots.
  •  Keep an eye on food photography trends and equipment.


  • Is experienced in shooting delicious qualitative food content.
  • Expert knowledge of photography foundations, techniques, and lighting.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • A portfolio of food photography that demonstrates the above knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite programs preferred.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and ability to recommend improvements.
  • Ability to work within a team and work on your own with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to thrive in an ever changing, dynamic environment.
  • Great work ethic and a good cultural fit for the team.
